TIGA Delivers Tax Break Petition

Today TIGA delivered a petition to 10 Downing Street calling for UK Tax breaks, similar to those in the film industry to be introduced. The petition is signed by 55 senior industry figures, all the names of which can be viewed at www.tiga.org.

New Midlands Studio

Former Codemasters executives Trevor Williams and Nick Wheelwright have announced their plans to open a new Midlands based studio ‘Playground Games’. Looking to open in 2010 they told Develop that the studio will “focus on projects that utilise new business models for games across all formats.”
