Develop today highlighted funds available for UK Games developers from SMEs (small to medium enterprises) to attend San Francisco’s GDC and Gamescom through the UKTI Trade access programme. The initiative is being lead by TIGA and allows developers  to apply for up to £1800 £1400 towards travel and expenses (update: funding is available only to UK developers exhibiting at the conferences.)

Submissions need to be recieved no later than 8 weeks in advance, (meaning with GDC fast approaching the deadline is incredibly tight) and you need to check whether your company is eligible to receive funding before applying.

GDC: Friday 15th Jan Update: 22nd Feb (9th March)
Gamescom: 23rd June (18th August)
